Following some rain showers this morning and around d lunchtime, the MotoGP fiel was greeted by a wet and drying track in the important sessions for the Czech GP on Saturday.

Thereby, Red Bull KTM Tech3‘s Miguel Oliveira kept his strong form from the opening day to secure ninth in FP3 and was sixth fastest during Qualifying one, always showing a consistent pace. Ok the other hand, Hafizh Syahrin needed some time to get used to the conditions this morning but improved to P11 in Q1 in order to launch off the line tomorrow at 14.00 local time from the seventh row of the grid.

Position: 16th

Laps: 7

"Overall, it has been a very strange day and we had some tough conditions, so it wasn’t easy for everyone, especially in Qualifying. We managed to get out the maximum of the wet tyres at the end. I was fast, but it was a very tight QP1 and it was clear, that it was going to be difficult to get into Q2. It is a good day for KTM with the first two rows and it seems like the race will be dry tomorrow. As I feel better on the dry, I think we can have a decent race and finishing better than we started."

Hafizh Syahrin

Position: 21st

Time: 2:07.155

Laps: 6

"In the rain, I had a good feeling in the end, but still the conditions were tricky, so I didn’t have full confidence. My sensations in the wet are improving, basically, I would need a few more laps to be a bit faster in Qualifying. On my second exit, I changed to the medium rear tyre and I felt slightly better with it, although the session is very short. It was difficult for everybody. Tomorrow will be another day, so we keep working hard. I aim to stay with the group and the goal is to bring home some points for my team."
