After a week of break, it is time for Tech3 KTM Factory Racing to head to Sachsenring for the Grand Prix of Germany, the first race of the last double header before the summer break. Without Marc Marquez, the King of Sachsenring, cards are set to be redistributed and we will be looking forward to seeing how rookies Remy Gardner and Raul Fernandez perform on the short German layout, with its thirteen corners including ten on the left.
Remy Gardner is coming from his best MotoGP result in Catalunya with a P11 finish, and will be targeting to score points again. Last season in Moto2, he finished on the first step of the podium and will be looking forward to trying this layout with his MotoGP bike. Teammate Raul Fernandez scored his first point in the category at the last Grand Prix, and will be hoping to score more in Sachsenring, a circuit where he holds the lap record in the Moto2 category after reaching the pole position in 2021.
The action will start on Friday at 9:55 (GMT+2) with the first free practice session, followed by the second one at 14:10, both of forty-five minutes each. On Saturday, the action will resume with the third free practice at 9:55, at the end of which qualifying entries will be determined. There will be a final chance to practice at 13:30 with FP4, before the qualifying sessions start at 14:10. The lights of the Grand Prix of Germany will go out on Sunday, June 19, at 14:00 for thirty laps.

"We are heading to the last two races before the summer break, as we start with Germany. It will be important to finish this first half of the season with good sensations on the bike. We got some positives from the test in Catalunya, which I hope we will be able to build on for the next races, take a step and get closer to the riders in front."

Hervé Poncharal
Team Manager
"After a constructive weekend in Catalunya and a very positive test on Monday, the Tech3 KTM Factory Racing team is heading to Germany full of confidence. We all remember last year the great race from Miguel Oliveira who finished second. Both Remy Gardner and Raul Fernandez had a strong race at the last Grand Prix and it was the first race at the end of which we got points from both riders, which is our best result of the season so far. Our rookies are not really rookies anymore and this result came at the right time because the transfer market is booming right now. We really believe that both will be able to start the action on Friday in the same positive dynamic as in Catalunya, and I am hoping that we will be competitive and score points again.
There are always plenty of KTM fans in Sachsenring, and we intend to carry the KTM flag high as we know that this race is important for the whole family. As usual, we will push and do our best to put on a great show."
