The Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli welcomed riders and teams with sunny and dry weather conditions on Saturday morning. Both rookies Raul Fernandez and Remy Gardner got their times going down compared to Friday, but the rain inviting itself in the afternoon just in time for qualifying redistributed the cards.
This morning in free practice 3, Spaniard Raul Fernandez did not improve his lap time as he worked towards Sunday’s race, looking for consistency. In the final free practice, he continued his efforts with a personal best of 1’33.318 at the end of the session. In qualifying 1, the rain invited itself to the Italian party and the track conditions became tricky for the number 25. On the other side of the garage, Remy Gardner managed to ride faster in the morning (-0.181 seconds) despite a small crash. In the afternoon, the rain made things difficult for the Australian rookie. Remy will line up from P24 and Raul P25, as the Gran Premio Gryfyn di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini is set to start on Sunday at 14:00 (GMT+2), for twenty-seven laps.

"Getting our tyres right has been challenging this weekend, but in the qualifying session, it was better. In the first flying lap, I was pushing hard but then was disturbed, and in the second one there was a yellow flag in Turn 3. Then the following lap got cancelled for track limits exceeding so I was a bit unlucky today. We have been missing the pace a bit this weekend, but we will see what we can do tomorrow. All I want to do is race, and hopefully have some nice battles. Like always, I'll give it my 100%."

"I would like to say sorry to my team because I did not handle the qualifying well. They got me a good bike today, and the pace was quite good in the free practices. We will do our best for the race tomorrow, thank you to my crew for their hard work today."
